This is the Probiotic that I recommend.
My Opinion:
We had a big, beautiful Warmblood gelding in training.
A one point, he was having Gas Colics every 2-6 weeks.
Not good.
A shot of Banamine by the Vet took care of the problem immediately, but still not something that we wanted to have happening, either on a regular basis, or ever!
At that point, I was still feeding Oat hay, in conjunction with Orchard Grass hay and Alfalfa.
As a solution, we experimented with changing his diet.
We added Forco to his daily scoop of grain, plus we took him off the Oat hay.
***Important Helpful Hint***
Oat hay causes gas!
If your horse is having any issues with gas, be sure not to feed any oat hay!
Now, we fed him a blend of Orchard grass and Alfalfa, and Forco, along with Platinum Performance (I will talk about this product next), in a general grain (Purina Equine Senior).
No more gas colic, ever!
Of course, because we changed two components/variables at the same time (added Forco and took away Oat hay), I cannot say for sure which benefited this horse the most, but regardless, I trust that the Forco was helpful.
I highly recommend Forco for all horses, but especially for the big warmbloods,
and Friesians, who are prone to digestive issues.
I have had complete success with it for my horse's digestive health.
