"Hand to Hoof Combat":
(My thoughts on March 29th, 2025):
"If you develop, manage, and train a horse properly, all the issues and challenges will organically disappear over time.
If a horse wants to 'put up their dukes' and fight with you, it is your task to diffuse the situation.
You need to outmaneuver and outsmart your horse, and come up with a neutral solution in which the horse does not feel they need to fight you in 'hand to hoof' combat.
If your horse trusts you, they will be confident and they will always try to please you and make you happy and proud.
You must embrace each horse's personality.
There is no cookie-cutter way to train horses.
A horse's training program and approach, needs to be done on an individual level.
If you are fair, polite, considerate and respectful; your horse will thrive in every way."
